We're excited to announce our continued partnership with FokusLabs to bring RE-vibe, the world’s first Anti-Distraction Wristwear™, to the market. Designed to help individuals, including those with autism and ADHD, RE-vibe is a wearable device that optimally reminds users to stay focused using gentle wrist vibrations.
Founded by Rich Brancaccio, a school psychologist with a passion for helping children who struggle with staying on task, RE-vibe is built around a proprietary algorithm that adapts to the wearer’s needs, ensuring they remain on track without becoming desensitized to the reminders. The wristwear is lightweight (under ½ oz) and offers up to seven days of battery life on a single charge. Plus, the built-in LEDs not only help users stay on task but also notify them when it's time for a break or when the battery is low.
In 2012, we began working closely with Rich and the team at FokusLabs to bring this innovative concept to life. The original goal was to create a device for children in the classroom, but as demand grew from adults, a larger-sized model was introduced. This inclusive approach has made RE-vibe a versatile tool for all ages, helping people focus whether they’re in school, at work, or managing daily life.
With the support of the Kickstarter community, which helped fund the initial development in 2015, RE-vibe was officially launched with over 180 backers from across the country. The initial feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, with parents and teachers reporting improvements in focus and classroom performance.
“I went over and met with their management team to see how much this was going to cost, but instead of talking about money they asked about my vision... What I didn’t realise was just how good these guys are. They took my dream, including my wish list of improvements like LED lights, on-and-off modes and smart components, and made it a reality.”
